A blog related to original AI artworks. I make AI artworks using coined words and emoji as prompts.
I have written about the interesting results of creating artwork using “infinity” or similar words as prompts for Stable Diffusion a couple of times already. So, I decided to try other mathematical terms and experimented with several of them. In this article, I will focus on differentiation (“differential”) and its variation “differentia”. I provided “painting” as a prompt to create the artwork, but I also tried providing the name of the painter. By using mathematical terms or their variations alone, diverse artworks were created, but it became evident that providing the appropriate painter’s name made them even more fascinating.
First, let’s start with “differential”. Here are some examples of artworks created only with positive prompts.
When provided as a negative prompt as well, the following artworks were obtained.
The artworks created with positive prompts alone are interesting, but it was found that providing “differentia” instead of “differential” resulted in even more fascinating artworks. It might be related to the fact that the word “differentiation” doesn’t have an “l” but I happened to provide a word with “l”. (In English, while the term “differentiation” corresponds to “微分” without an “l,” when it comes to “微分方程式” (differential equation), the term “differential” is used with an “l,” resulting in “differential equation.”)
There are several faces depicted here, including some broken ones, and they have patterns on their skin. I am not sure why such faces are being drawn. Even in abstract art, there are intricate and detailed patterns.
Furthermore, let’s add the names of painters to these artworks. First, Kandinsky.
I have only provided two examples here, but as expected, there are many abstract paintings.
Next, Klimt.
Along with intricate patterns like swirls, human faces are usually included.
And then Chagall.
I also tried Picasso.
I even tried combining Kandinsky and Klimt as prompts.
I experimented with other painters and their combinations as well.
