Impressions of ChatGPTʼs Classification

I would like to share some impressions I had after letting ChatGPT classify the images.

In one image, a person aboard a ship is drawn very small, yet it was classified under “Human.” Before seeing this classification, I hadn’t noticed there was a person in the picture.

In the next image, the animal is quite abstracted, but it was still classified under “Animal.”

Artwork of growing or arranged plants

The next image is quite abstract, and even for a human viewer, it’s unclear whether it depicts a plant, yet it was classified under “Plant.” Eyes are also depicted, but it wasn’t classified under “Face or Eyes.”

Artwork of artificial objects other than scenery

I’m not sure what is depicted in this image, but it certainly appears to be an artificial object.
