A blog related to original AI artworks. I make AI artworks using coined words and emoji as prompts.
If you give AI the name of a painter, it will often draw a picture imitating that painter. Normally, various painting materials are selected, but depending on the artist, if you change the random numbers and draw I sometimes draw many pictures that imitate a specific picture. There is no problem with paintings by Monet and Van Gogh, but if this happens to modern painters, I’m afraid there may be copyright issues.
In Monet’s case, a pond of water lilies and a bridge over it are persistently painted. This is probably because Monet himself painted many of these paintings.
The water lilies are not clearly depicted in these paintings. The following image shows one and a half (!) bridges and what appears in the background of a cat-themed painting.
In the case of Van Gogh, "Starry Night" is often painted.
The things drawn in the background are different, but the sky and the cedar trees are common. If the copyright is valid, it will be a problem.
