A blog related to original AI artworks. I make AI artworks using coined words and emoji as prompts.
I provided the name of Hokusai as a positive prompt and “Ukiyo-e” as a negative prompt to Stable Diffusion 2.1. This resulted in surreal Ukiyo-e style landscapes and more.
When it comes to Hokusai, his famous wave paintings from “Thirty-six Views of Mount Fuji” are globally renowned. When you input Hokusaiʼs name into Stable Diffusion, nearly half of the results turn into variations of those waves. Even when denying Ukiyo-e, waves remain a dominant theme, resulting in paintings like the following:
Occasionally, portraits also appear. Just like in the case of Sharaku, denying Ukiyo-e leads to the creation of paintings with a sense of depth. Since portraits are not its forte, sometimes youʼll see hands duplicated or with an extra pair.
