When only Hiroshige’s name is given to Stable Diffusion 2.1, many of the resulting paintings have muted colors and are not particularly attractive. However, by providing his name or “Ukiyo-e” as a negative prompt, more diverse landscape paintings featuring mountains and ponds can be obtained.
The next two were generated with only Hiroshige’s name, but the colors are muted, and they are not very appealing.
So, I try providing Hiroshige’s name along with a negative prompt. This resulted in more diverse paintings, like the following:
Among the generated paintings, there are some that feature what appears to be human begings, but Stable Diffusion failed to depict people convincingly.
So, I considered trying to create landscapes where people are mostly absent. Since providing only “Ukiyoe” tends to result in mostly portraits, I thought that providing it as a negative prompt might achieve the opposite. The following paintings were created in this way.
Among the paintings created this way, there are some ambiguous ones like the following.
In the upper left painting, it’s unclear whether it depicts a boat or a house. Additionally, the sky in the upper right painting resembles either the sea or a pond.
