Results of the “Free Creations by AI Art” Exhibition at Design Festa

On November 16–17, we exhibited and sold posters of AI art under the title “Free Creations by AI Art” at Design Festa, held at Tokyo Big Sight. We also showcased and explained the five works that won awards or were selected at exhibitions held at the Tokyo Metropolitan Art Museum until November 16. The items sold were small posters, sized 24 cm square (1,000 yen) and 15 cm square (500 yen), along with frames for these sizes (1,000 yen and 500 yen, respectively).

Although we prepared nearly 400 posters, only a few were sold. The award-winning works were the only ones to sell multiple copies. Some visitors who didn’t make purchases still showed relatively positive evaluations of the artworks.

I had conversations with individuals involved in AI art, those interested in it, and young artists, but overall, the interactions were less engaging compared to last year.
