A blog related to original AI artworks. I make AI artworks using coined words and emoji as prompts.
Giuseppe Arcimboldo was a Renaissance painter known for his peculiar portraits made up of faces consisting of vegetables, small animals, and more. When his name is provided to Stable Diffusion 2.1, the AI produces images similar to what Arcimboldo himself painted. However, when given other painters’ names as negative prompts, the artwork undergoes various transformations. In this case, we specify the name Rembrandt, resulting in the emergence of masks and deformed faces.
First, let’s consider the scenario where only Arcimboldo’s name is given as a positive prompt.
While there are various faces, they all share the common theme of a man’s face at the center.
Next, when Arcimboldo’s name is given as both a positive and negative prompt, the diversity increases, and female faces are also included.
Images like the following, where faces become part of the landscape, also appear. Especially the image in the lower right corner seems to be worth a closer look.
The following image shows a continuation of the landscape on the left, while the right side is quite different.
Here are a few more images.
