Vermeer’s Bridges

When Vermeer’s name is included in the prompt, the AI often generates images featuring bridges.

The reason for this frequent appearance of bridges is not well understood. Although Vermeer rarely painted landscapes, the AI tends to generate many landscape scenes, not just bridges. This may be because it is trying to suppress the appearance of human figures, or perhaps it is creating Vermeer-style images based on photos of the Netherlands. Since bridges are common in such photos, this might explain the frequent inclusion of bridges in the generated images.

In the following images, not only Vermeer but also Delaunay is included in the prompt. This makes the AI even more likely to generate images featuring bridges.
