A blog related to original AI artworks. I make AI artworks using coined words and emoji as prompts.
I attempted to draw about 8000 images using my name as a prompt with Stable Diffusion XL. As a result, it was often found that maple trees or maple leaves resembling the Canadian flag were drawn from the spelling “Kanada.” The bias towards maple trees tends to be associated with autumn. Moreover, while many images are drawn in a manga or anime style, when drawing other people, they are mostly depicted as black. Additionally, mountains like Mount Fuji and multiple towers in Chinese or Japanese style are frequently drawn. I attempted to correct these frequencies by stacking several negative prompts, but it does not always work out.
Most of the images drawn with my name as a prompt can be accessed from this page. Among them, I will first list those with maple leaves resembling the Canadian flag.
Next are images including trees with autumn leaves, which look like the one in the Canadian flag.
I won’t provide examples, but most of these can be eliminated by specifying “Canada” as a negative prompt. However, considering that the spelling "Kanada" means “Canada” in languages like German, this would give conflicting instructions.
In the following images, while “Henry Tanner” or “Braque” is specified as a negative prompt, I think they best represent those including “Yasusi Kanada.”
Here, the above left image depicts a woman evoking ancient Japan with red leaves resembling maple leaves, along with cherry blossoms. Additionally, the above right image features a mountain reminiscent of Mount Fuji, multiple towers, and trees with autumn leaves. I tried “Edo” among others to eliminate this bias, but I will leave that for another occasion.
