Dasyn opened a hands-on and displayed bulbs with sparkling 3D-printed cover at Maker Faire Tokyo 2017 (August 9, 2017 7:29 AM)
Dasyn opened a booth in Maker Faire Tokyo 2017 at Tokyo Big Sight on August 5 to 6. Dasyn exhibited and sold bulbs and lamps with sparkling 3D-printed shades. Dasyn also opened a mini hands-on (workshop). In this hands-on, visitors can design PLA bulb covers and assemble LED bulbs. Five visitors chose favorite cover designs, modified them, and created their own bulbs with a 3D printer. Printing ABS globe stands were also demonstrated. Moreover, many prefabricated bulbs and shades with AC 100 V, DC 12 V, USB (5 V), or battery power supplies, which included ice-cream bulbs (see the second photo), were displayed and sold.
