Two presentations on unique types of 3D printing (April 6, 2014 5:15 PM)
A presentation on the “fluctuating 3D printing” was given by Yasusi Kanada (the CTO of Dasyn.com) in the 8th International Workshop on Natural Computing (IWNC 2014) held in Hiroshima YMCA on March 18-19. The paper titled “FDM 3D-printing as Asynchronous Cellular Automata”, which is the same as the title of the presentation will be published by Springer as a book in the series of Lecture Nodes on Computer Science.
A paper on the “natural-direction 3D printing” by Yasusi Kanada was accepted for presentation in the International Symposium on Flexible Automation (ISFA 2014), which will be held in July in Awaji Island. The paper title is “Method of Designing, Partitioning, and Printing 3D Objects with Specified Printing Direction”.
